Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a collaborative Android engineering team, the full-time Software Engineer I will design, develop, and maintain consumer-facing Android applications while working in a hybrid environment with in-office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features in Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into user experiences
• Debug and resolve issues across the Android application stack, including UI and networking

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Java in an Android context
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK and Jetpack libraries
• Demonstrated ability to ship Android features or applications through a portfolio or projects
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tooling (Gradle)
