Software Engineer

Job Summary

To meet customer needs through application development, the full-time Software Engineer III will focus on developing microservices, implementing APIs, and managing multiple development initiatives while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement APIs while documenting designs for team implementation
• Provide production support, including off-hours assistance on a rotating schedule
• Identify software system issues and recommend solutions, participating in code reviews

Required qualifications

• College degree in a Technical or related field and 3-5 years of professional experience, or 7+ years of related experience
• Strong technical knowledge of development languages and frameworks, including Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and NodeJS
• Experience with microservice/cloud-based architectures, such as Spring Boot and Docker
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM or Kanban
• Technical knowledge of SOAP/REST web services and distributed version control systems like GIT
