Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a global team, the full-time remote Professional Services Software Engineer will create customized solutions that integrate 8x8's communication products with customer applications, utilizing APIs and scripting languages to enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collect project requirements from customers through remote interviews
• Implement customized solutions based on the Statement of Work (SOW) using 8x8 products and third-party software development tools
• Manage customer deployments and present customized solutions to clients, including executives and end-users

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PHP, and JavaScript
• Strong background in APIs and integration with third-party systems
• Experience with conversational AI/ML technologies and natural language processing
• Understanding of cloud platforms and web application architecture
