Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Software Engineer in Applied Science, the successful candidate will develop pricing algorithms, auction mechanisms, and analytical frameworks while collaborating with product teams to address quantitative challenges in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize pricing algorithms and auction mechanisms
• Create shared marketplace metrics and automated variance detection systems
• Conduct causal modeling and build experimentation frameworks for analytical investigations

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in TypeScript, with experience in React, Node/NestJS, MongoDB, and Postgres
• Strong interest in marketplace economics and data science
• Experience in building and shipping software solutions across the stack
• Ability to partner with platform and data teams for ML pipeline development
• Comfort with tackling complex architectural challenges
