Job Summary

Building and scaling applications for Fifer, the full-time Software Engineer will design and implement full-stack features using AI-assisted coding practices while deploying and managing workloads on AWS and Azure in a government-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across a React/Next.js frontend and Node.js backend
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads on AWS and Azure within FedRAMP-compliant boundaries
• Collaborate with federal agency users to translate workflow pain points into effective software solutions

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with commercial products
• Production experience with React and/or Next.js frontend frameworks
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design and query optimization
• Hands-on experience deploying to AWS and/or Azure
• Active GitHub profile demonstrating software building capabilities
