Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on performance and reliability, the remote Software Engineer will support backend infrastructure initiatives, optimize databases, execute performance testing, and enhance system stability.

Key responsibilities:

• Support platform infrastructure with a focus on performance, reliability, and resiliency
• Configure and optimize databases that support order-related data and system performance
• Execute performance and load testing for backend services and APIs prior to releases

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with Kafka, including topics, producers/consumers, and transactions
• Background in performance testing or load testing of APIs and distributed systems
• Experience with observability and logging tools; OpenTelemetry is a plus
