Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with a dynamic team, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, and troubleshoot mission-critical software for the US Air Force, with the flexibility to work remotely while occasionally preferring candidates who can be onsite in Morgantown, WV.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug software using modern programming languages and tools, such as Java
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, utilizing Agile development tools for task management and collaboration
• Develop maintainable code and automated tests, ensuring alignment with specifications and performance metrics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
• Active Secret clearance or higher, with the ability to maintain it during employment
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks, such as React
• Strong desire to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques
