Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, and debug mission-critical software for the US Air Force, utilizing modern programming languages and Agile tools, with the flexibility of remote work and a preference for candidates who can occasionally be onsite in Morgantown, WV.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software source code using languages such as Java and C++
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle while collaborating with team members using Agile tools like Jira and Bitbucket
• Create and update documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience in a relevant field
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with JavaScript and frameworks such as React
• Strong motivation to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques
