Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Software Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join a dynamic team in a full-time remote role, focusing on designing, developing, and debugging mission-critical software for the US Air Force.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software using modern programming languages such as Java
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with team members using Agile tools like Jira and Git
• Create and update documentation for design, development, and testing processes while identifying potential roadblocks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher, and the ability to maintain it during employment
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming, as well as JavaScript and JS frameworks like React
• Strong desire to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques independently
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team
