Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and developing software for medical devices, the remote contract Software Engineer will troubleshoot and debug existing products while supporting software and technology platforms, including build pipelines and automated testing.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop software for new and existing medical device products
• Support software and technology platforms, including build pipelines and automated testing
• Collaborate cross-functionally to influence hardware design and ensure product quality and usability

Required qualifications:

• Experience in software development specifically for medical device software
• Strong understanding of software development within regulated environments
• Ability to work cross-functionally to support product innovation
• Experience with cloud-based or internet-related tools
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and debugging software issues
