Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-centric clinical and analytic applications, the contract Software Engineer will design and build back-end services remotely, leveraging cloud computing, big data, and machine learning while ensuring the performance and scalability of cloud-based micro-services.

Key responsibilities

• Translate requirements into code by collaborating with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Architects
• Develop services for data warehousing, analytics, and machine learning, and participate in DevOps and Agile frameworks
• Implement deployment automation and configuration management using tools like Azure DevOps and Terraform

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or an Associate's degree with two additional years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering, specifically with data pipelines and distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with APIs/microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Experience with Agile software development techniques and modern application frameworks
