Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development and sustainment of mission-critical applications, the full-time Software Engineer will collaborate in an Agile environment to design, develop, and deploy secure software solutions while working remotely from the Dayton, Ohio area.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain web-based applications for a national user community
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to secure coding standards and troubleshoot software defects

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent training and experience
• Experience with modern application development technologies such as React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js
• Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
