Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Software Engineer to work remotely, who will be responsible for developing and maintaining production services, collaborating with product and design teams, and ensuring high engineering quality through code reviews and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Build interactive and intuitive user interfaces and robust APIs for customer-facing web applications
• Collaborate with technology teams using agile methodologies to execute and ship business-critical projects
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while participating in regular code reviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2.5+ years of experience designing and building successful customer-facing web applications
• Proficient in at least one statically typed programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Golang) and strong understanding of JavaScript with a frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, AngularJS)
• Experience with REST APIs and writing complex SQL queries in databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub, including pull request workflows
