Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a mission-driven platform, the remote Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the transaction of surplus inventory for CPG suppliers and retail buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, review, test, and deploy code across the software stack, effectively integrating AI tools based on product needs
• Collaborate on feature definition, design, and technical direction, while improving documentation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
• Actively seek mentorship and engage in learning opportunities to grow skills relevant to the company's roadmap and mission

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in writing clean, tested, and maintainable code
• Experience with web application development, including backend and frontend technologies (TypeScript, React, Express)
• Familiarity with data modeling and databases, particularly MongoDB
• Effective collaboration skills across engineering, product, data, and design teams
