Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Software Engineer to work remotely, this role focuses on writing, reviewing, and maintaining code for open-source tools that empower the JavaScript ecosystem, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop new features and address bugs and security vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review, and maintain code and technical documentation
• Interact daily with the community, consumers, and contributors
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, design, and develop new features that meet business objectives

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience in production software development
• Experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Services
• 2+ years of experience developing and debugging large-scale projects or applications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
