Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and document application programs while collaborating with stakeholders to define system scope and objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform software analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging for complex systems
• Analyze and implement functional requirements, and maintain existing systems while identifying areas for improvement
• Participate in peer reviews and regular meetings, providing updates on current tasks and continuous learning of technology trends

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 years of software development experience in an object-oriented programming language
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java Spring Boot and basic understanding of database technologies
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps practices
