Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely from anywhere within the U.S., the full-time Software Engineer will design, code, test, and maintain scalable big data solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and defining APIs for integration with various data sources.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, document, and maintain high-quality big data solutions
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in existing solutions
• Collaborate with management and other teams to write technical documentation and support production

Required qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• 2+ years of development experience with Scala, Python, JSON, and Web Services
• 2+ years of experience in relational databases (SQL)
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology
