Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a flexible and innovative Software Engineer for a remote full-time position to architect and build control systems, improve software development practices, and collaborate with product teams on new data products for renewable energy-powered data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Help architect and build the control system (Maestro) for data centers
• Improve software development practices including testing, integration, deployment, and configuration management
• Collaborate with product management to develop new data products supporting internal teams and processes

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Elixir, Python, SQL, and Node-RED
• Familiarity with Elixir and a strong desire to deepen knowledge in Elixir/OTP/the BEAM
• Experience with AWS and managing lightweight cloud operations
• Background in developing and improving tools and processes for quality software delivery
• Appreciation for testing and validation, with experience in mission-critical applications preferred
