Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented Software Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience, the full-time position allows for remote work while requiring occasional onsite presence in Morgantown, WV, and focuses on designing, developing, and troubleshooting mission-critical software for the US Air Force.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software using modern programming languages such as Java
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and utilize Agile development tools for collaboration
• Develop maintainable code and automated tests while supporting documentation and specifications for design and testing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React
• Strong desire to learn new programming languages, tools, and frameworks
