Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and operating core developer-infrastructure services, the full-time Software Engineer will create fast, reliable, and secure features for CI and build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain components of developer-infrastructure services, ensuring high reliability and security
• Improve metrics related to build and CI wall time, deploy speed, and test feedback time
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify pain points and implement platform improvements

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building and operating production software with a focus on distributed systems
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Go, with a track record of shipping backend features
• Experience with CI/CD, deployment tooling, or developer productivity engineering
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or container technologies
• Understanding of observability and performance tooling to enhance system behavior
