Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and operating core developer-infrastructure services, the full-time Software Engineer will contribute to CI and build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure while collaborating with engineering teams remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features of developer-infrastructure services to ensure they are fast, reliable, and secure
• Improve metrics related to build and CI wall time, deploy speed, and test feedback
• Own components from implementation through testing and monitoring, participating in on-call rotations

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building and operating production software with a strong foundation in distributed systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, with experience in shipping backend or platform features
• Understanding of reliability, security, and observability in production code
• Experience with developer infrastructure domains like CI/CD, deployment tooling, or test infrastructure
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or containers
