Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented Software Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience, the full-time position allows for remote work while preferring candidates who can occasionally be onsite in Morgantown, WV, and focuses on designing, developing, and debugging mission-critical software for the US Air Force using modern programming languages and Agile tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software source code using languages such as Java
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with team members using Agile tools
• Support documentation creation and manage development tasks to improve performance metrics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team
