Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented Software Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience, the full-time position allows for remote work while offering opportunities to design, develop, and troubleshoot mission-critical software for the US Air Force in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software using modern programming languages such as Java
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and utilize Agile tools like Jira and Bitbucket for task management
• Develop maintainable code and automated tests while collaborating closely with other engineers on technical design

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks such as React
• Strong motivation to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques independently
