Job Summary
To support the Command and Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application program, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, and troubleshoot mission-critical software using modern programming languages, while collaborating with a dynamic team in a remote environment with occasional onsite preferences in Morgantown, WV.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software source code using languages such as Java and C++
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle and utilize Agile development tools for collaboration
- Develop maintainable code and automated tests while delivering components of systems or applications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience
- US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher
- Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with JS frameworks such as React
- Strong desire to learn new programming languages, tools, and frameworks
