Software Engineer

Job Summary

Managing technical activities remotely, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, integrate, and test applications and cloud computing resources for the USCG, ensuring deployment timelines and goals are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for USCG information systems
• Conduct Operational and User Acceptance Testing while reporting performance metrics to the USCG
• Provide Tier 3 assistance for escalated issues and keep process guides updated for System Administrators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Possess IAT Level II certification
• Knowledge of AWS, Linux, Python, PHP, and MongoDB
• Active Secret clearance
