Software Engineer

Job Summary

Managing and executing technical activities, the full-time remote Software Engineer will design, develop, integrate, test, and field applications and cloud computing resources for the USCG, while maintaining Application Program Interfaces and customizing user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs for USCG information systems and customize user interfaces based on user feedback
• Conduct Operational and User Acceptance Testing, reporting performance metrics and addressing defects in the MLMS system
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues and keep process guides updated for System Administrators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Possess IAT Level II certification
• Knowledge of AWS, Linux, Python, PHP, and MongoDB
• Active Secret clearance
