Software Engineer

Job Summary

Product-focused and detail-oriented, the full-time Software Engineer will work remotely to write documentation, implement automated tests, debug production issues, and optimize system performance while contributing to project completion under moderate supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Write documentation and automated tests for code, ensuring compliance with coding standards
• Debug production issues and create mitigation plans while optimizing existing implementations
• Assist in the identification and documentation of design patterns and performance optimization areas

Required qualifications

• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
• Capability to debug moderately complex problems and analyze logs in production systems
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with programming languages including C, C++, Java, Golang, or .NET Core
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
