Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and maintaining front-end web applications, the full-time Software Engineer will work remotely to implement features, provide production support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement features and support public-facing web applications while adhering to web standards and user experience best practices
• Perform unit testing, troubleshoot user interaction issues, and optimize webpage performance across multiple devices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop prototypes, and ensure UI meets functional specifications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science, Software Engineering, Web Design, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience building high-quality public-facing websites
• 3+ years of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience, including knowledge of asynchronous programming and cross-browser compatibility
• 2+ years of experience using the ReactJS framework
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as git, AJAX, JSON, and responsive web design
