Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Engineer will participate in the development of requirements, design and deploy solutions, and manage incident and problem resolution activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of requirements, user stories, and test cases while participating in operations meetings
• Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Manage incident and problem resolution activities, including root cause analysis and proactive defect prevention

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 4 years of relevant experience
• 3 years of experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, SVN or Git, and deploying to cloud platforms
• Experience with application monitoring, structured logging, and performance metrics
• Proficiency in designing complex SQL and integrating with Java, C#, or Python backends
• 2 years of experience developing RESTful microservices with Spring or Spring Boot and applying TDD methodologies
