Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a growing team, the full-time remote Software Engineer will develop and maintain key components of the platform, including APIs and services for digital ordering, while collaborating with senior engineers and contributing hands-on code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Core team's domain and technology stack while handling small-to-medium features with support from senior engineers
• Write code adhering to established standards, participate in code reviews, and contribute to team deliverables focused on quality
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging issues, demonstrating ownership of the team's delivery pipeline and participating in on-call duties

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 1.5 years of experience in a software engineering role
• Proficient in C#/.Net and familiar with basic programming constructs and design patterns
• Basic understanding of version control tools (e.g., GitHub) and unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, Jest)
• Basic understanding of distributed systems and experience using collaboration platforms like Jira and Confluence
