Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working in London with the option for remote flexibility, the full-time Software Engineer on the Persistence team will manage and improve compute infrastructure, write Golang code, and enhance platform features that support thousands of developers daily.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve a fleet of clusters running hundreds of instances across various deployment regions
• Write Golang and use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, while working with Nomad for workload management
• Own the reliability and performance of the compute platform, including on-call coverage for the team

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong preference for Golang
• Deep experience with virtual machines, file systems, and Linux
• Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale
• Familiarity with schedulers and orchestrators like Nomad or Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges
