Software Engineer

Job Summary

To meet business and customer needs through application development, the full-time remote Software Engineer will focus on the development, deployment, and life-cycle management of automation and middleware applications while collaborating with various teams to provide proactive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation and integration software initiatives while documenting designs for team implementation
• Provide production support, including off-hours support on a rotating schedule, and participate in design and technology decisions
• Manage multiple development initiatives concurrently and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and users for support

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience or a college degree
• Strong technical knowledge of Java-based SOAP and REST microservices on Kubernetes architecture
• Experience with database modeling/design in SQL relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostGres
• Familiarity with a Linux shell environment and accessing Linux systems remotely via SSH
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, such as SCRUM, and preference for experience with Azure DevOps
