Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the USCG's deployment goals, the full-time Software Engineer will manage the design, development, integration, and testing of applications and cloud computing resources, while customizing user interfaces and gathering user feedback remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for USCG information systems
• Conduct Operational and User Acceptance Testing, reporting performance metrics to USCG monthly
• Provide Tier 3 assistance for escalated issues and keep process guides updated for System Administrators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Possess IAT Level II certification
• Knowledge of AWS, Linux, Python, PHP, and MongoDB
• Active Secret clearance
