Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the technical activities required for application development and cloud computing resources, the full-time Software Engineer will manage the design, integration, testing, and fielding of applications for the USCG while collaborating with various stakeholders and maintaining system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for USCG information systems
• Conduct Operational and User Acceptance Testing while reporting performance metrics to USCG monthly
• Provide Tier 3 support for critical issues and update process guides in accordance with the latest releases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Possess IAT Level II certification
• Knowledge of AWS, Linux, Python, PHP, and MongoDB
• Active Secret clearance
