Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the performance of market data solutions, a midlevel or senior Software Engineer will work remotely or from various locations, focusing on implementing and maintaining a Java client library while developing high-performance server applications in C/C++.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Java client library, ensuring robustness and ease of integration for users
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance server applications in C/C++
• Optimize the existing codebase for high throughput and low latency, implementing tools for petabyte-scale data processing

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, preferably in a trading firm or tech company
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Java, with experience in C# as a plus
• Familiarity with open source best practices and systems programming concepts
• Experience in designing APIs focused on intuitive user interfaces
• Interest in low-level optimization and performance engineering, particularly in financial data or algorithmic trading
