Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and implementing scalable solutions, the full-time Software Engineer II will work remotely to develop back-end systems, contribute to design decisions, and enhance testing practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build medium-complexity, scalable solutions that meet product requirements
• Write clear technical design documents and ensure adherence to testing standards throughout development
• Participate in product discovery and provide constructive feedback during code reviews

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a software engineer with production code
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with back-end distributed systems and familiarity with microservice architectures
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Redis, Kotlin)
• Experience deploying and hosting applications on Kubernetes and AWS
