Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer will own backend features end-to-end, help design distributed systems, and build and maintain APIs while ensuring data reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own backend features from discovery to ongoing operations with support from teammates
• Design and evolve distributed systems focused on performance, scalability, and resiliency
• Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality across systems

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience building backend systems
• Strong general-purpose programming skills and software engineering fundamentals
• Solid debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot production services
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
