Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of enterprise integration solutions, the full-time remote Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain applications that connect Epic with various systems while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability in healthcare technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications and integration solutions for Epic and LIMS platforms
• Serve as a Tier-2 support resource for production applications, troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborate with Epic Analysts, Product Owners, and QA Engineers to gather requirements and deliver effective integration solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of software development experience with expertise in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
• Experience with Epic integrations, HL7/FHIR, and Mirth Connect strongly preferred
