Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely from anywhere in India, the full-time Software Engineer II will build, optimize, and maintain backend services and data pipelines for a next-generation SaaS advertising platform, ensuring reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver backend services and data features that meet performance goals and support the team's roadmap
• Take ownership of code from design through production, ensuring reliability and maintainability
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable features and participate in code reviews

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of backend development experience with proficiency in Python and familiarity with FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Experience with modern data stack tools such as DBT, Snowflake, S3, or AWS Glue
• Practical experience with distributed systems like Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL in scalable production contexts
• Ability to optimize services and queries for speed and reliability
• Experience in building performant APIs to serve large datasets
