Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Software Engineer, the ideal candidate will collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to design and implement scalable cloud storage solutions, focusing on durability, availability, and concurrency in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements and align service behavior with platform capabilities
• Lead the development of design documents and feature implementation for Azure Archive Storage Service
• Mentor engineers to produce extensible and maintainable code while influencing team direction and product design

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience in coding with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements upon hire and every two years thereafter
