Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a mission-driven company, the full-time remote Software Engineer will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of software applications, focusing on writing reliable code and participating in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable, and testable code using RPG while designing production-quality solutions
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot software issues and conduct code reviews

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience with proficiency in RPG
• Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
• Familiarity with software engineering practices such as version control, testing, and debugging
• Experience using modern development tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies
