Software Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the administration and development of Kafka infrastructure, the full-time Associate Software Engineer will manage cloud and on-premises environments, assist with capacity planning, and enhance infrastructure automation.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and support Kafka infrastructure, including hardware and software components
- Develop and enhance infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable messaging solutions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience administering Apache Kafka platforms and managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and infrastructure services
- 3+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools
- 2+ years of experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
