Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development and modernization of cloud-based software for a Department of the Air Force customer, the full-time remote Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices while collaborating with an Agile team.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native software applications and services
- Develop backend services and APIs for enterprise data and catalog capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum activities and produce technical documentation
Required qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience
- Strong experience developing production software in a modern programming language
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices
