Software Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and implementing high-performance software systems, the full-time Software Engineer will work remotely or in Pittsburgh, PA, focusing on developing features and optimizations for foundational technologies in autonomous vehicles.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency logging frameworks for telemetry and event logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop features and optimizations for Clockwork
- Identify and implement improvements for performance, reliability, and usability of software systems
Required qualifications:
- Proficiency in C++ with a strong understanding of multi-threading and memory management
- Experience in developing high-performance software for safety-critical applications
- Strong knowledge of the POSIX programming environment and Linux
- Familiarity with embedded systems and debugging techniques
- Experience with common tools such as Bazel and Boost
