Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support and enhance internal applications and automation platforms, the contract Software Engineer will work remotely for six months, focusing on maintaining and developing Bliss, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure application reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and enhance Bliss, the internal infrastructure provisioning and automation platform
- Develop and implement enhancements, bug fixes, and new features for existing applications and APIs
- Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance and reliability through code fixes and monitoring enhancements
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
- Experience with REST APIs and web services, along with system integrations or automation solutions
- Ability to work within an existing codebase with minimal ramp-up time
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and container technologies is a plus
