Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain Elixir services and React frontend code, contributing to the full development lifecycle of PDQ's products.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain Elixir services and React frontend code that drive product functionality
- Optimize systems for performance and collaborate with teams to meet project deadlines
- Conduct research and prototyping, while engaging in code reviews and addressing technical issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, particularly with Elixir
- Strong understanding of Elixir, React, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD tools
- Experience with SQL, database migrations, and Git version control
- Familiarity with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
