Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a product-minded and team-oriented Software Engineer for a full-time remote position focused on writing maintainable code and implementing new features to enhance the Marketplace platform, connecting customers with maintenance shops and facilitating transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement features for the Marketplace, facilitating outsourced maintenance and payments
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality software
- Engage in the design and architecture of features, ensuring well-tested and maintainable code
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, React, and/or Typescript
- Firm understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
- Solid experience in solving architecture problems with good design
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- An eye for detail and quality, with the ability to make tradeoffs
