Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely with the option to commute to one of the company's US hubs, the full-time Software Engineer will partner directly with enterprise sellers to design and implement custom integrations, build internal tooling, and automate support workflows using Whatnot's APIs and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Partnering with enterprise sellers and their engineering teams to architect and implement bespoke integrations leveraging Whatnot's APIs
- Acting as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, translating seller needs into scalable solutions
- Building durable tooling and workflows to support enterprise onboarding and integration while solving complex post-sale technical challenges
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong grounding in APIs, distributed systems, and data synchronization
- Experience with e-commerce or operational systems (e.g., Shopify, Magento) is a plus
- Ability to take ownership of ambiguous areas and drive impact without a predefined playbook
