Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of the Pinnacle Loan Originations platform, the full-time remote Software Engineer will diagnose production issues, design and operate multi-agent workflows, and build production-grade backend services using Java/Kotlin and GCP technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve production issues across the mainframe and service tiers, implementing fixes and improvements in the same change set
- Design and operate the MCP tools layer, ensuring secure and efficient server operations over DB2, Splunk, and GCP
- Build and manage multi-agent workflows, enhancing agent capabilities and automating test-case generation for quality assurance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of experience building and operating production-grade backend systems
- 5+ years of experience in Python and Java (Kotlin or TypeScript is a plus)
- At least 1 year of experience in shipping AI-enabled applications in production frameworks
- Working experience with Google Cloud Platform and backend fundamentals such as Spring Boot and relational databases
