Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the search and merchandising capabilities, the full-time Software Engineer II will independently own backend features, develop Go microservices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Independently deliver end-to-end features for search and merchandising backends from requirements through deployment
- Take technical ownership of backend services and collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to refine user stories
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing production software while ensuring system performance SLAs are met
Required qualifications
- 1-4 years of professional backend software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience with distributed, cloud-based, high-availability systems
- Demonstrated ability in writing production-grade Golang services
- Familiarity with modern data and deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
